Confirmation

"In him you also, when you had heard the word of truth, the Gospel of your salvation, and had believed in him, were marked with the seal of the promised Holy Spirit.” St. Paul, Ephesians 1:13

Confirmation is a Sacrament which reinforces and invigorates the baptismal gifts, deepening the call to be a witness to Christ. For Catholics it is one of the three Sacraments of Initiation. It is most often associated with the gifts of the Holy Spirit.

Confirmations at Our Lady’s take place in Year 8. If you are a young person or an adult who has not been confirmed or you would like to be received into the Catholic Church this will take place at the Easter Vigil.
